Slambert Performance Engineering

Slambert Performance Engineering is a husband and wife (Shawn and Susan Lambert) owned small business in VA, a few miles west of Virginia Beach.

Shawn has a Mechanical Engineering background and more than 20 years of professional mechanical design experience. Shawn has been racing, building, testing, designing, and fabricating parts for over 30yrs. He started out racing motorcycles when he was 8 yrs old and then moved to ATVs in his late teens, and then onto cars in his early 30s. It’s amazing how having kids will drive finding a safer adrenaline rush.

Susan is the backbone to this organization and keeps everything glued together. She typically handles the administrative and financial side of the business, but she’s not afraid to head out to the shop and get her hands dirty. She provides the track side support structure and is a professional sounding board with sanity check feature installed.

Shawn and Susan’s passion and hobby became a business in 2014, and the rest is history.
